At Red Orange Technologies, we’ve built something we’re incredibly proud of. It’s called NOVAlab.

And no, it’s not just another chatbot.

Nor is it another “AI tool” that generates polished answers, impressive demos, and perhaps a little uncertainty in the boardroom afterward.

NOVAlab is built for what comes after the AI hype:

How do we use AI in real business processes? How do we allow AI to take action without losing control? How do we know why a decision was made? How do we document it for customers, management, auditors, and regulators?

That’s where NOVAlab comes in.

The platform connects AI models, agents, data sources, and business systems through controlled workflows. Every response and action can be evaluated, scored, logged, and, where necessary, sent for human approval before anything happens in business systems.

In short: AI that doesn’t just answer. AI that evaluates before it acts. AI that can be traced. AI that can be stopped. AI built to meet European requirements for control, data, and accountability.

And perhaps most importantly for Norwegian businesses: they can adopt AI in real business processes without their corporate data having to leave the EEA or fall under legal jurisdictions outside Europe.

We created NOVAlab because we believe Norwegian and European businesses need more than access to large language models. They need a secure way to use them.

Europe doesn’t just need more AI. Europe needs AI we can actually trust.

This was developed at our office in Asker, together with Amit Sharma, Prakash Kattoli, Geir Aasen, and the rest of the team at Red Orange Technologies. This is just the beginning.
